Author Sayadaw U Tejaniya Sayadaw is a Theravādin Buddhist monk of Chinese descent and the meditation teacher at the Shwe Oo Min Dhamma Sukha Forest Center in Yangon, Myanmar whose teachings have attracted a global audience.

Accommodation for Ukrainians in the Buddhist center

We offer emergency accommodation for refugees from Ukraine in the Buddhist Centre of Forest Peace (Shanta Vana) in Bohemian Paradise. Accommodation is suitable for people who tend to Buddhism or a similar spiritual direction and like peace and solitude, as the centre is very secluded and located in the middle of the forest. In the centre it is possible to accommodate approximately 20 people in two cottages.

Petr Entner has passed away – our friend in Dhamma

It is with regret that we announce that on 16/11/2021, our friend and friend in the Dhamma, Petr Entner, passed away at the age of 60. Petr practiced insight meditation (vipassana) for many years. He attended meditation courses with a number of teachers, including Sayadaw U Tejaniya, whose meditation center he visited in Mynmar (Burma). About a year ago, he was diagnosed with a serious illness, to which he succumbed on November 16.
