Dear friends,
As you are probably aware, Myanmar has been hit by a devastating earthquake and the situation there is catastrophic. Most of the buildings, including historical monuments and temples in the Mandalay and Sagaing regions, have been damaged or collapsed. Many monks, nuns and civilians have died, and many are injured and missing.
In this desperate situation, we cannot remain idle and watch the suffering of the people of Myanmar - a country that is already suffering so much.
The Rabten Chodarling Center, with the blessings of Venerable Gonsar Tulku Rinpoche, is organizing a humanitarian fundraiser to help Myanmar. The collected funds will then be distributed directly to the affected areas with the help of our friends, the Myanmar monks.
